Though badly damaged, the white marble marker etched with Odd Fellows triple links appears to be inscribed DANIEL VICK and was likely originally placed at the foot of the grave of Samuel H. Vick‘s father Daniel Vick or his eldest son, Daniel L. Vick.

We have a matriarch, Elizebeth Vick Taylor that still lives in Wilson, NC she is 89 years old and the oldest grandchild. It would be a wonderful opportunity to speak with her and capture the Vick family history that she often shares and pours into me
