• Randolph R. James — Randall Roland James. The couple is listed in the 1915 city directory of Mobile, Alabama, at 652 Saint Louis, and in the 1920 census of Newark, New Jersey. They divorced not long after. Both their sons, Randall R. James Jr. and Charles Darden James, worked in the funeral home business his grandfather founded, and Charles James assumed its helm after their uncle C.L. Darden died.
