  1. Those obits have to be viewed as mostly true but sometimes, oh boy! My great-uncle’s obit left off his first 4 wives! I bet the obit was written by his 5th wife. LOL

    1. I agree. Obituaries often reflect someone’s ideal, rather than strict reality. As with any secondary source, cross-checking and verification is key, and adjustments to the output here would be in order.
