Kudos to the Taylor-Swinson Historic Memorial Association for their exemplary stewardship of their family cemetery.
Taylor-Swinson likely contains graves of people who had lived in Wilson County and certainly holds the work of Clarence B. Best, Wilson’s extraordinary headstone cutter.

The wall is beautiful. My husband’s grandmother’s name is on the wall, as well as a few other close relatives. We visited the wall on 5/24/25. If you get a chance, visit the wall. We took pictures with some new found (possible) relatives.
Next time I’m home, I definitely will. I paid my respects at Taylor-Swinson last year — it is a beautiful testament both to those who are buried there and to their descendants.
Hi Lisa,
I just got off the phone with Lois Daniels. In conversation, I figured out that we are probably cousins! Hey cousin! My 3x Great Grandfather, Patrick Hall is the brother of William H Hall. Small world! 🙂 Thank You for the kind comments about our Taylor-Swinson Memorial Wall and Thank You for checking us out!
Hi, Lenny! Y’all have done a fantastic job there. So inspiring! I’m not a Hall, but my cousins are! I’ve posted several times about the Halls, as well as about your GGGG-GF James Bullock Woodard.
Oh you posted more than several times. Your research saved me HOURS!!! Thank You again!!! (my almost cousin 🙂 )
