In the 1900 census of Concordia Parish, Louisiana: farmer Patrick Jackson, 44, born in Mississippi; wife Anna, 26; stepson Charlie Armstrong, 12; uncle Jolly Taylor, 86; aunt Cherry Taylor, 69; and orphan Susie Harris, 8.
