Lisa. In addition to the FASCINATING news that you share about events in Wilson, I know that you also keep up with family connections as well. This article about Columbus E. Artis (better known as C. E. Artis) is about my great-great uncle. He was my grandmother’s (Pauline Artis Harris) uncle. Columbus and Pauline’s father (Noah Artis) were brothers. Thanks so much for ALL that you do to preserve and present a part of Wilson’s history that has long been overlooked.
