I was startled to see the dateline, as I had never heard of the attempted lynching of Frank Frill in Wilson County. A little research disclosed that the murder of Dr. Herbert P. Moseley, for which Frill was accused, took place in Farmville, Pitt County, about 23 miles southeast of Wilson.
