Beatrice Taylor Barnes, a long-time teacher, was an inspiration to generations of students (including my father, R.C. Henderson.) Daughter of Russell Buxton Taylor and Viola Gaithers Taylor, she lived most of her life at 536 and 538 East Nash Street.
