  1. Looks like it was 607 Lodge and it was sold to the Housing Authority in 1964 by Ada Knight, widow. She, along with some other family members, is listed in the 1922-23 CD.

      1. Solving these mysteries is my favorite part of what I do. Unfortunately, the 9-5 doesn’t require this type of research very often. So thank you for allowing me to dig!

      1. Ping back to Ada’s funeral service, which you covered. Lots of questions answered. William was her son, etc… Also, she went on, after selling to the HA, to buy the lot her father, Neverson, lost back from the Pittman family.

  2. Hmmm… Everything else makes sense except the William part. Maybe an instance of you can’t believe everything you read in the paper?! 😉
