  1. I remember the Ellis Family. They were my Grandmother neighbors. She would teach me to spell and read different words. God has truly blessed her. I haven’t seen her in years. It was good to see her photo.

      1. My Grandmother was Ella Robinson she lived at 1007 Faison St. We are related to the Reid’s on that street as well.

      2. I didn’t know her, but that’s the house between the Ellises and Davises, right? I knew the Reids, of course, as well as the Harrises, Taylors, Sullivans, Hodgeses, Greens, Stevensons, and my Ellis cousins, who lived at 1023.

      3. Did you know Mrs. Ellis kids, Cynthia and James Charles? We all played together. Dr. Sullivan delivered me into this world @ Mercy Hospital. I knew Frankie Sullivan and Rodrick Taylor as kids.

      4. What a small but huge world. Thank You again for your wonderful site. I love the history of my birthplace. And your stories are fascinating, I saw the photos of my first grade and third grade teachers on your site. I had forgotten their faces until you had them in a story.

  2. Hi did this Mrs Ellis live off 301 in the stone house not far from fikewood shopping center ?
