In late fall of 1948, Dr. Julian Brown Rosemond, a South Carolina native, announced the opening of dental office at 527 1/2 East Nash Street, above Isaac and Kenneth Shade‘s pharmacy. He later built a small office building at 548 East Nash.

Dr. Rosemond and Aunt Doris were close family friends. I remember his Dental office was upstairs over my Grandfather’s Drug Store on Nash Street.
Yes! I didn’t realize until recently that that’s where his first office was — 527 1/2 East Nash. I’ll add the detail re Shade’s to the post.
He looks so handsome and happy in this picture. I hope he enjoyed a successful practice. Ken’s comment is cool!
I’m not sure when Dr. Rosemond retired, but he was certainly practicing well into the 1980s. His youngest was my childhood friend.
And that picture of him is a picture of Maria.
It is that!
