I connected with Stuart Barbee online about a year ago after discovering that we had common relatives. If I’m not mistaken, Pattie Hagans Freeman was his maternal grandmother and also my paternal great grandfather’s (Julius Hagans) niece. Thanks for helping me to put in place the missing pieces of my ancestry.
Yes, she was his grandmother, and her father Lawrence was Julius’ brother.
