- Willie Mae Hendley Freeman — Nashville, Tennessee native Willie Mae Freeman met her husband Oliver Nestus Freeman while they were students at Tuskegee Institute.

- Anna Burgess Johnson — Anna Johnson, born 1885, married Robert J. Johnson on 19 June 1910 in Warren County, North Carolina. The family lived in Virginia, Kansas and Arkansas before Father Johnson accepted the post at Saint Mark’s Epicopal Church in Wilson in the 1940s.
