On the reverse: “Sarah Lyles.” The boy is Lucian J. Henderson (1926-2003).

Based on the boy’s age, this photo dates from about 1931. His mother, Hattie Henderson Ricks, recorded Sarah Lyles‘ name on the back. I have been unable to document Lyles’ life in Wilson.
