$500.00 for houses for Negros, $2,000.00 for whites? This is disturbing, but I guess that was the way it was back then.
The ad targeted white investors. Build a nice house for yourself or, to bring in a little rainy day money, a substandard one for coloreds.
Thanks for the clarification. I thought they were selling houses for whites and “Negroes” to be purchased by members of each race.
